About
The Tragic City Rollers are one of the 400 all woman (skater owned and operated) roller derby leagues worldwide at the heart of the movement to revive roller derby.
Founded in December of 2005, the Tragic City Rollers realize that roller derby is more than just a sport; it is social activism, community service, and a character-building activity for women across different social backgrounds. Our members are mothers, teachers, police women, career technocrats, librarians, baristas, nurses, engineers, students and everything in between. Not only do we strive to promote camaraderie and fairness in standards and sportsmanship, but also local community-based charities and businesses, like Rape Response, Race for the Cure and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Thanks girls for all your support for our family
