All Night Scrimmage – Dec. 10
TCR is inviting anyone and everyone who has passed the WFTDA written test and the WFTDA skills test to an all night scrimmage! We can do team vs team vs team or do it slam it all together style and create teams on the spot (we promise to wash our pinni jerseys)!
From 11 pm to 6 am nothing but skating skating skating until all us old ladies drop! Derby housing will be provided to all those who want/need. Birmingham also offers a 24 hour alternative club who would just love to see all of us at the butt crack of dawn!
This will be $10 per skater for the entire night! Please bring any red and yellow shirts you may have with your numbers on them. TCR also has red and yellow pinnie jerseys you can use throughout the night.

That bout starts at 5pm with doors opening at 4. TCR’s “varsity” A team bout against The Savannah Derby Devils starts at 7pm. Tickets are $15 at the door or $10 online.
This is a family friendly event, with kids 8 and under getting in for free, so bring the whole gang! 10% of the profit from all home bouts for this season will go to The Greater Birmingham Humane Society. Southern Belle Ringer – Nov. 5
You Know! The TCR All Stars have been invited to participate in the first annual championship tournament presented by Derby South, the Southern Belle Ringer!
The tournament will be hosted by the Mississippi Rollergirls, and it’s all going down on November 5 in Gulfport, MS, at the Harrison County Skate Park. Come see the top 10 Derby South teams duke it out to see who’s the best of the best! You are not gonna want to miss out on this derby action!

Night of the Rolling Dead – Oct. 15
On October 15, 2011 The Rome Rollergirls are hosting Night of the Rolling Dead in Rome, GA. This elimination tournament will include TCR’s Plan B, the Rome Rollergirls, the Pensacola Roller Gurlz and the Chattanooga Rollergirls’ B-Messy Smiths! Doors open at 6pm and the action starts at 7pm. Tailgating, roller derby, and winning in Rome. YOU KNOW! Check out the Night of the Rolling Dead event page for more information.

TCR’s “varsity” A team bout against The Raging Rockets starts at 7pm. Tickets are $15 at the door or $10 online.

TCR Rookie Recruitment – July 6,13, & 27
If you’ve ever dreamed of being a TCR, NOW’S YOUR CHANCE!!!! July 6th, 13th, and 27th from 8-10 pm at Skates 280. We’ll teach you how to do derby and bring out the best in yourself! All skating skill level and body types welcome, as long as you’re 21 and up. Rental skates are available at no charge, so there’s not a reason at all to miss this experience. Attend all 3 Wednesdays and receive a TCR goodie!
There’s room for the fellas cause refs need love too!!! If you wanna join the zebras, then get to Skates 280 on these Wednesdays!
**We wear elbow, knee and wrist guards along with a helmet and mouth guard, should you have those things, bring them with you!!! Don’t have them? Don’t worry, there’s still plenty of skating we can do!
Don’t miss this because after July 27th, we won’t be accepting new recruits. Your next chance will be six months away and that’s just too long to wait! See you there!
