*****IMPORTANT UPDATE*****

Just a heads up, we have moved the start time for the Wednesday night recruitment (3/28) back to 8:00PM to allow our new junior roller derby league, The Tragic City Trouble Makers, their time on the track. 
The Monday night recruitment (3/26) will still start at 7:00PM.

Do you have what it takes to be a derby girl, referee, or non-skating official? We want you! 

We will be holding two recruitment workshops: March 26th 7:00 pm - 10 pm and March 28th 7:00 pm - 10 pm at Skates 280. You'll learn basic skills we use in derby: skating, stopping, falling--plus a general overview of what we do. Come on out!

WHAT WILL I NEED? 
Rental skates will be available from the rink for free. There will be safety gear available for use for free: helmets, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. We reccomend wearing athletic clothes you will be comfortable skating in.

AM I OLD ENOUGH?
Sorry, kids. TCR is 19+. If you aren't quite old enough but still want to get involved with roller derby you can email juniors@tragiccityrollers.com for more information about Birmingham's up and coming junior roller derby league

I HAVEN'T SKATED SINCE I WAS, LIKE, TWELVE. 
If you're worried about how you'll look out there, let us assure you: you are going to look like a drunk giraffe. Fortunately, so is everyone else. All skill levels are welcome!
